China Industrial Association of Power Sources, abbreviated as CIAPS, is a national, industry-specific, and non-profit social organization composed of resources from battery industry enterprises and units. The competent department is the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The association was established in December 1989 and currently has over 500 member units. It has ten branches, including the Alkaline Battery and New Chemical Power Supply Branch, Acid Battery Branch, Lithium Battery Branch, Solar Photovoltaic Branch, Dry Battery Working Committee, Power Accessories Branch, Mobile Power Supply Branch, Energy Storage Application Branch, Battery Equipment Branch, and Power Battery Application Branch.
